Magic Suite 3.17

Magic Suite 3.17 has been released with the following changes across all products.

ReportMagic

New Features

  • Certificates now show correct expiry date of 2 years (unless overridden by a user with super admin rights).
  • Missing output folders are automatically created when a batch job runs.
  • [Agent.SqlTable:] now supports columnAlignments
  • Macros created in the last 6 months are now shown with a "New" icon and text in the main help pages.
  • The [Table.Save:] macro now has the 'columns' and 'excludeColumns' parameters.
  • Added the [Agent.WebQuery:] macro.
  • Added the [Slide.DeleteSection:] macro.

Improvements

  • Information as to why a connection may fail has been added to the "Connecting to External Systems" help page
  • It is now possible to insert symbols using various macros into PDF and XLSX output documents.
  • [List.GroupBy:] help and examples have been updated to reflect recent changes
  • The [Agent.WebQuery:] macro and the [Web.Query:] macro now support the ability to split the header name/value pairs by something other than the '=' character. A new parameter 'headerValueDelimiter' can be used to set this, and defaults to '='.
  • ReportSchedule endoints now do not retrieve deleted schedules.
  • " - Clone" is now added to end of name when cloning Roles and Role Permisssions.
  • The [LogicMonitor.InstanceProperty:] macro now outputs a JArray of JObjects in Normal Mode.
  • The API now supports Overwriting a file to SharePoint
  • When attachXlsx=True is set in the [EmailReport:] macro a System Error is no longer reported should there be no Excel output to attach.
  • The [MicrosoftDataverse.List:] macro no longer supports the skip parameter.

Bug Fixes

  • Added the [Azure.Connection:] macro.
  • Fixed an issue that was preventing the Agent from starting and running properly in Console mode and as a Windows service.
  • The Report Magic Agent 3 installer will not prompt for a reboot during install, upgrade or removal of the Windows Service.
  • Fixed an issue where the progress page variable filter did not work as expected.
  • [Agent.SqlGraph:] y axis now does not display too far to left in Report Studio
  • Updated behaviour of [Toggl.TimeEntryProperty:] and [Toggl.TimeEntryList:] macros.
  • Fixed an issue emailing reports from a report schedule when the deferred [EmailReport:] macro is executed before the macro results table nightly partitioning but the report completes after this has occurred.
  • Word and PDF output documents are no longer incorrectly placing text at the bottom of graph images in specific circumstances.
  • Fixed an issue where the [LogicMonitor.Graph] macro would ignore axis grid interval types unless axis grid interval values were also specified.
  • Changed the HTTP client timeout from 100 seconds to 5 minutes for the [Microsoft.EntityDefinitionsList:] macro.
  • Fixed an issue where the [Table.Save:] macro's columns and excludeColumns parameters could error even when emptyTableText parameter is set and there's an empty table.
  • The [List.GroupBy:] macro is now more accurate when using the 'sum' aggregation.
  • The "View" button on the Notifications page is now not enabled when there is nothing selected.
